Telugu Times, the First and Only Telugu newspaper published from San Jose, CA since Feb 2004 has started its East Coast and Mid west edition by getting the First copy released by Dr Y S Rajasekar reddy, Honorable Chief Minister, Govt of AP at Rosemont Convention Center Chicago, USA on Sunday, 6 May 2007. Dr Y S Rajasekara Reddy, Chief Minister has handed over the first two copies to Dr Hanumayya Bandla, President TANA, Dr Chandra Reddy Gavva, President ATA and has congratulated the Telugu times management.
Speaking on this, Mr. Jayaram Komati, Chairman, Telugu Times has informed that with a view to offer faster reach and better connectivity to the community, Telugu Times East Coast & Mid west edition printed at New York is started and assured better media services to the community. Telugu Times has been coming from San Jose USA and is serving NR Telugu Community as an effective media tool. However as Telugu times is currently being published from San Jose, it is reaching to most cities late and thus prompted printing at New York.
Mr. jayaram Komati has also informed that Mr. Mahesh Saladi, a prominent Telugu person from New York and a Banker by profession has also been brought on to the Board and is given the responsibility of East Coast & Midwest edition. Mr. Jayaram Komati has added that with the partnership with teluguone.com and with the induction of Mr. Mahesh Saladi, Telugu Times has an organization has become more stable and assured the NR Telugu community for better service and asked the community to give its support.
